Concours d Elegance
On May 4th and 5th the annual antique car and boat show at Lakewood Yacht Club. This is the largest combined show in the country with some of the finest automobles in the world and boats from yesteryear. Lots of food and fun for everyone. Tickets are $12.00 per day if purchased in advance, $15.00 mper day at the gate, $20.00 for both days if purchased in advance, $25.00 for both days if purchased in advance. Men Who Cook
The third annual fundraiser for the Seabrook Police Association will be Tuesday,April 22, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. and is a true gala feast with 44 cooks from the community serving up their favorite dishes at Lakewood Yacht Club. Contact Cheri Runbeck-Smith at (281) 326-4900.
The parade is held the 2nd Saturday in December. It is a night time boat parade involving over 100 boats decorated with lights and music.
Tree Lighting Ceremony
The ceremony is the 1st Thursday in December. It marks the official start of the Christmas season. The Mayor performs the lighting of the Christmas tree on the City Hall lawn. Local school bands and choirs perform and refreshments are served in the Community House following the performances.
Start 2003 off the right way -- mark March 29th on your calendar to join forces with other dedicated volunteers cleaning up Seabrook shoreline during the annual River, Lakes, Bays N Bayous Trash Bash.
Volunteers are being recruited to gather at the Seabrook / Hwy.146 Boat Ramp at 8:30 a.m. for registration and assignments. The actual clean up is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. After the clean up, "Trash Bashers" are invited to a free lunch, exhibits, door prizes and entertainment by the Benny Brasket Band.
Seabrook Site Coordinator Chris Kuhlman reminded that the volunteers should wear appropriate outdoor work clothing and gloves will be furnished.

The Trash Bash was a recipient of the 2001 Environmental Stewardship Award from the Galveston Bay National Estuary Program.
