Process for Filing a Plat
Before a preliminary or final plat hearing can be scheduled, the applicant must submit the following information to the Planning Department.
This form also serves as a guideline for the platting process.

Plan Checking Form
This form is used by the building inspectors and the plan checker to review plans as they arrive to our office.  These plans are mostly for residential and commercial development.

Subdivision Plat Form
This form is used by citizens and developers when submitting a plat to the Planning & Zoning Commission.  The form as well as the plat is then reviewed by the City Engineer and the Manager of Community Development & Planning.  If it meets all of the ordinances, it is then forwarded to P&Z and Council.

Subdivision Variance Application
The Council may authorize variances from the subdivision ordinance when,
in its opinion, undue hardship will result from requiring strict compliance, or when compelling evidence exists that the granting of a variance is in the best interest of the city.
